This 16-page A5 booklet for the official UK Free Assange campaign documents Julian Assange’s journalistic impact through timelines, quotes, and awards.

The layout draws on clean design conventions — subtle hierarchy, generous white space, and restrained typography — to evoke credibility and gravitas. The intention was to support the facts with dignity and clarity, allowing Assange’s legacy to speak for itself. The design was updated in 2024 with both print and digital formats.

From the back cover: Julian Assange, the most awarded journalist of our time, was imprisoned in London’s Belmarsh high security prison for over 5 years from 11 April 2019.

A global campaign for his freedom and for press freedom secured his release. In a plea deal negotiated with US prosecutors, Assange was effectively found guilty of journalism on 26 June 2024.
